Purpose of Usage & Application Areas
The system, which detects the road situation thanks to the traffic lights and sensors located at the entrance and exit, in areas that present danger and incoming vehicles are not visible, aims to inform the vehicles that will enter or exit the area if the road is empty or full. Thus, the danger is minimized. When a vehicle enters the road from one direction, the traffic light for the opposite direction turns red. In this way, the vehicle in the direction where the traffic light is red will not enter the road and wait for the road to clear. When the road is empty, it turns green and the traffic is prevented from locking. These are systems that regulate traffic at car park entrances, car park ramps or access roads where only one-way vehicle entry or exit is allowed.
